Who Is This?
Who is this, hanging for all to see?
Who is this, suffering to save you and me?
Who is this, who bleeds for all our shame?
Who is this who knows us all by name?
This is Jesus who loves more than we know
This is Christ who, us, the path will always show
This is Jesus who knows the desires of your heart
This is Christ who knew you from the start
Who is this, example of true peace?
Who is this, who asks for strife to cease?
Who is this and whose love will never end?
Who this is that proved our greatest friend?
I hope your Friday is truly good and gives you the chance to reflect on all the blessings you have. I also hope it reminds you how deeply loved you are. And that your neighbors are loved with that same abiding love no matter how different they may be from you.
